The Uzbekistan chess team is one of the stars participating in the fourth edition of the tournament EL LLOBREGAT OPEN CHESS. Uzbekistan has excelled in chess, with players such as Nordibek Abdusattorov, who won the previous edition of the Open and went on to become world rapid games champion. I am 26 years old: in chess all ages are good. I was born in Tehran: more and more beautiful because more and more people are fighting to make it freer. Married to filmmaker Ardeshir Ahmadi: we have a two-year-old son. I compete tomorrow in the Llobregat Open Chess Tournament with masters from 44 countries.

The 4th edition of the Llobregat Open Chess Tournament is just a few days away. To warm up the engines, we inaugurate a series of analysis of exceptional players, and of unrepeatable games, who have passed through our tournament.

Registration for the 2023 edition of the tournament has been closed after reaching the maximum permitted capacity, with a total of 282 participants. Even so, the average ELO exceeds that of last year’s tournament, so a very high level of competition is expected. Thank you very much to all of you for making this edition

The young Spanish promise of chess, Alex Villa, has just concluded his participation in summer tournaments, with great success: Champion of Spain U14 Teams, 5th of Spain in the U14 Individual, Sub-Champion of Spain U14 Fast Pace, Absolute Champion in the three Active (one-day tournaments) he participated.
