The official accommodation of the 4th edition of the El Llobregat Open Chess Tournament is the Hotel El Castell (calle del Castell, núm. 1) in Sant Boi de Llobregat. The 3-star hotel has an outdoor pool, terrace and garden. It is located on a hill on the outskirts of Barcelona and offers panoramic views. It is located in a quiet area, surrounded by forest, just 600 meters from a sports center and spa. The spacious and elegant rooms have exterior views and include satellite TV. Inside it houses a popular restaurant, the Blanc&Negre, and a cafeteria. In summer, you can eat on the terrace.
Hotel El Castell is well connected to the city center by car and public transport, and is only a 10-minute drive from Barcelona-El Prat Airport. It is also the closest hotel to the tournament venue (Can Massallera, calle Mallorca, no. 30), just a 5-minute walk from it.
